   COACHES CORNER

Thank you so much to all of our coaches.

We are so proud of the hard work that you guys have been doing. Thank you....

Deadline for FCSA U12 and above scheduling forms are due to FCSA before February 15th. Late teams will not be accepted. There will be a traveling coaches meeting at FCSA on February 23rd. You will get your schedules this day.  Spring season will begin on March 1!!

All coaches and assistant coach are encouraged to have completed or plan to complete an

OSA Coaching course appropriate to the age groups they will be coaching.

Members may not coach more than 1 year without a license. We also have a Director of Coaching,

and other qualified coaches that will assist any coach that request assistance. Likewise, the OSA

courses are reimbursable please check with the board.  Each coach, assistant coach, and team

manager must have completed a Volunteer Disclosure Form and returned the form to JP'S FEED STORE

by the deadline of February 1 to be considered for a coaching position. These forms must be completed

even if you coached in the Fall season or in any previous season.  Those members that refuse to complete

the form will not be allowed to coach or work with the child per USYSA/OSA/FCSA bylaws.

The coaching courses recommended for each age group are as follows:

U06/U07/U08 - Youth Module I

U09/10 - Youth Module II

U12/U14 - E Certificate

U14/U16/U19 - D License or higher

Anyone who has completed the F Certificate should consider taking the Youth Module I & II

course as the material has changed significantly to address small-sided soccer.

A detailed description of each course can be found on the Coaches page at www.oksoccer.com

please direct any questions about coaching to the Director of Coaching
