UNIFORMS:    

                    The uniforms our teams use depends upon the level of play they are a part of.

 

                    * U6 thru U8- 

Please purchase black shorts, and black socks. If official uniforms or specific base colors are used, it will be decided at the parents meeting at the beginning of the season.  The cost of the uniforms is the responsibility of each family. The cost is not included in your registration fee. In addition to your uniforms, all players must wear shin guards.  These are mandatory.  Soccer cleats are optional and are not required for recreational players.  At this age level a good pair of comfortable tennis shoes will work just as well.  If you do choose to get cleats be sure that the ones you purchase are approved for soccer.  Shoes with metal cleats, or a cleat directly on the toe of the cleat are not allowed.

                    * U10 thru U19 -  

                    The older recreational teams select their own uniforms after they form.  

                    The cost of the uniforms sis the responsibility of the team family.

 

 

                   Shin Guards and Cleats.  In addition to uniforms, all players must wear shin guards.  

                   These are mandatory.  Soccer cleats are also recommended, but not required for 

                    recreational players.  be sure the cleats you purchase are approved for soccer. Shoes 

                    with metal cleats, or a cleat directly on the toe of the cleat are not allowed.

 

 

                   Soccer Balls.  The coaches of our traveling teams and our MWC teams are provided 

                   with balls each year. These are paid for by CNP and are intended for game balls, but

                   may be used for practices.  There is not a need for each family to buy a ball.

                   Skills increase with touch time on the ball, so having one at home to practice with can

                   dramatically improve a players development.  Soccer balls come in many types and 

                   qualities.  Several good soccer balls are available in the $18 - $25 range.  It is highly 

                   recommended that you put your player's name and phone number on the ball in

                   waterproof marker.

 

   

                    Soccer Ball Sizes.  The size of the soccer ball you use is directly tied to the age group of

                    the player.  Ball sizes are as follows:

 

 

                                        *    U-6 thru U-8.  Size "3" ball.

 

                                        *     U-10-U-12    Size "4" ball.

 

                                        *    U14 -U19      Size "5" ball.
